International arbitration is the method by which companies engaged in international trade resolve their disputes. It allows disputes to be resolved confidentially, without the merits of the case being subject to the jurisdiction of a foreign court.

Brandon Malone advised the Scottish Government on the establishment of the Scottish Arbitration Centre, and has chaired its Board of Directors since it was established in 2011. Brandon devised the Law Society of Scotland‘s arbitration accreditation scheme and became its first accredited specialist in arbitration law.
Brandon is an honorary lecturer at the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy at the University of Dundee, and he is an external examiner in arbitration at the Robert Gordon University.
